"More than just milk"
Asia has the highest consumption rate of flavored milk in the world. Therefore Binggrae Company, which is one of the biggest producers of beverage milk in Korea, wants to grow up to the Canadian market and increase the consumption of milk during the childhood.
Because the culture is different between these two continents the company wants to create a different logo and packaging so the families can feel interest to try this new product.
A zoo of flavors
To develop a proper packaging I started conducting a research. There I found that to impact the society I need to focus my project in children, who are the ones that consume more milk and can boost their parents to try a new product.
Knowing my main target audience my next step was to find the proper style that can show a playful, colorful and refreshing design without losing the main concept of milk.
Because the company offer different kind of flavours and my main target audience needs something to feel related I brought with the idea to relate an animal to each flavour.
A package that enchants
To represent my new concept I made a compilation of mock-ups. The colours of my different products are based on the color of each milk flavour and the animals chose are the ones that by a survey the people relate with the flavours.
My final design for the animals was inspired on the northwest native art prints of Canada culture with a combination of a refreshing style of some Hawaiian patterns.
